Studio G ATC size Valentine challenge....

Oh goodness i had WAY too much fun with these! i did all 8 in about 2 hours - pretty quick i think!
This first one is also from the etsy inspired challenge over on Hearthugsdesigns:
the etsy shop this week is Scrap-n-scribe - THE most adorable hairbows! anyway there are two different kinds of bows that i thought would look great on cards and here is one of them.

and now the whole set of 8 ATC valenties i made:

SO again - ATC size is 3.5" x 2.5" - so i gathered up my bittersweet pezzy picks kit goodies first and cut 8 pieces of solid Bazzill 5" x 3.5" and folded them in half. from there i picked out a tag sketch from the page maps page, some bittersweet patterned paper and selected a studio G stamp or two and went to town. i only had three inks out - all brilliance dew drops - chocolate, orchid and red poppy. i also had cinnamon stickles, ruby liquid pearls and pink liquid pearls along with my bittersweet clay embellies i made and the ribbon from the Pezzy's picks kit. this made it easy because everything i grabbed matched :) i did throw in a crocheted heart on one of them too.
i just love using the clay embellishments and have had ALOT of folks asking if i will be selling them - i do have some plans too that are in the works but no release date for you yet. there will be a birthday line, some little critters (of course) and easter. the easter ones will be made to match some of the new paper collections released at CHA. now where DID i put that coffee........i am going to need it!! hahahah!

i really want to see what other folks come up with so be sure to come back and leave me a link! also don't forget we have a polkadot pie contest running at the same time!
hugs!

SFYTT ala clay embellies!

if you follow me regularly you'll remember really got into playing with polymer clay recently - well Jen's Sketch this week was just perfect for playing with a few of my new ones! SO good in fact i made TWO cards this morning!

the first one was fr Trev's bday - 16 today:

i used one of the Polkadot Pie Sprinkles background stamps and adirondack espresso dye ink for 3 of the circles and then put the clay embellies on with glue dots. on the last circle i stamped my fave ikadinkado bday stamp in adirondack sailboat blue dye ink. i edged them all in the sailboat blue too. the chocolate paper is from the DCWV sweet stack. this card was SUPER easy to put together!

Next up i have ONE clay embellie and three images:

the three images are pink petticoat - LOVE those!!! colored with copics and highlighted with liquid pearls (including bee's wings but couldn't get a good pic). the circle with the clay turtle was stamped with another Polkadot Pie Sprinkles background stamp using adirondack watermelon dye ink. i edged all four of them with a combination of adirondack clover and citrus inks. the square pink frosty acrylic embellies will be making their appearance at Pez-A-Doodles soon (you will NOT want to miss these!!!) the papers are bo bunny - ella enchanted and buttercup double dot paper and matching ribbon - those MAY show up in a mini kit.....SO perfect for springtime and easter......

remember ALL adirondack inks are on sale right now to make room for new goodies along with quite a bit of other things so be sure to check out the store!! While you're there grab that Polkadot Pie Sprinkles background stamp while you can. 4 stamp designs and new releases will coordinate with them just like our current release!!

wanna see another one??? she is oh so cute - my little Pezzy...

i have another one to show you today! introducing a slightly more grown up little pezzy all ready for Valentine's day!

For my card today i used MJ's monday lunchtime sketch challenge ->

Perfect for little miss pezadoodle!

and a few close ups:

i colored her with copics and then took my versamark pen and highlighted the design on her shirt & the hearts on her pants and brushed over them with forever red perfect pearls for some shimmer. then i used it to highlight the rim of each red heart on the banner and brushed those with blush perfect pearls. the next picture has the card tilted so you can see the shimmer.

the border comes with this set along with a few other matching individual hearts. i stamped it in memento rose bud and then highlighted it and the patterned BG paper with frosted lace stickles. OF COURSE i added another of my custome clay embellies!

along with the stamp sets i will have two kits of goodies - Pezzie's Picks - available for you so you can have a little bit of everything for your projects without spending a fortune and ending up with WAY more than you need. One kit will feature 5 papers from the gorgeous Basic Grey Bittersweet collection that i have been using plus the matching bazzill cardstock and an assortment of coordinating buttons, brads and ribbons - a quick and complete one-stop shop for a little valentine creating!

stay tuned tomorrow for another cute project and a demo of the interactive abilities of the new polka dot pie line! you will not want to miss it!!!
hugs & stampin fun!
