who's tired of my no pics postings regarding products *waving my hand wildly* - SO ready to get back to projects and tutorials but first one last time:

just a quick post today - i want to give you all some updates from the store.

studio g series 20 & 22 AND Christmas Ink sets have ALL been shipped - what this means is that if you live in the US and you have NOT received a shipping notice (please be sure to check) then you should let me know immediately! outside the US please give it a couple weeks and then let me know.

halloween ink and glitter glue - i am waiting on a shipment so there are still some of those orders waiting, however, if you ordered back in july or august and have not received yours please let me know.

wooden alpha series 4 - all shipped. i have more of these as well as one set of series 1 if you are interested.

RANGER SUMMER CHA items

shipping has been delayed from ranger - they are now saying nothing was shipped out like it was going to be and it will be mid-october.

nothing new to report on the horizon for studio g however i am fairly certain anything new will not happen until after the first of the year.

Whiff Of Joy Challenge 1 - HOORAY i did it!

last week a brand spankin new challenge blog started up featuring Whiff Of Joy stamps - these are SOOOOO cute!! and Katharina will have some new releases next week. i am a little late with this one - the sketch was posted on Wednesday but at least i did it! i want to be able to say - i was there from the beginning!! so here is the sketch:

And here is my card: This one is called Melinda reading book and she is colored with copics. i did her wings, bracelet, belt on her shirt and design on her jeans using spica pens - man oh man do i love these. the pattern paper is the new DCWV glitter christmas stack and cut with my nesties and then everything is edged with silver brilliance ink. the primas are called fancies i believe (and i bought all the colors but am looking to get rid of half of each since that is really a lot of flowers so let me know if you want some.)

TSSC baby goodies

hi all! sorry for the sparse posts lately but i have been getting the studio Gs outta here! i am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! i took a breif break earlier this week between shipments to make this baby shower gift. the card uses MJ's Tehnostamper sketch. the timing was perfect as i had just gotten my oval nesties {happy dance}. here is the sketch:

the images are studio Gs from past sets. i recently arranged them all in baseball card sleeve pages in binders and i LOVE it - so easy to flip thru and pick some out now!! i colored them with copics, inked all my edges and added some stickles. patterned paper is nana's nursery from DCWV. the dots are liquid pearls and the doodling is my silver spica. i made this for a lady in pez's playgroup - we had a baby shower for her wednesday. since it is her second and another boy she doesn't really need a lot of stuff so i made up a little gift of an easy meal. i put all the ingredients in this jar:

i included the cans of tomatoes so all she needs is ground beef and water - easy chili mac! i will be doing similar items for christmas this year.

i have sorted the last shipment of series 20 - i will spend the afternoon printing the labels and attaching them to the packages to hopefully get them all out tomorrow! i know everyone is anxious to get them and i am anxious to get back to playing so i can play with the new stuff too!! this evening i will get a bit of playtime because my friend cori is having a stamping/scrapping get together at her house tonight. i will be working on my card for the very first whiff of joy blog challenge which i am determined to complete as i want to be able to say i was there from the beginning!! you should all run over there too and check it out as well as take a peek at the teasers on katharina's blog for the upcoming whiff of joy release.

no not from me but from Carolyn King. here is the card i made and will be sending out - it is one of my new whiff of joy stamps - blowing kisses - is she not ADORABLE??? if you head over to whiff of joy tell katherina i sent you!

colored with copics and accented with spica pens. her wing has frosted lace stickles. i will be mailing her off tomorrow to complete my blog candy entry! how about you???

a little business now - i will be sending out the last of the series 22 stamps tomorrow. i am out of halloween inks and glitter glues. the rest of series 20 should be here tomorrow BUT i will call to make sure....they WILL be sent out asap once they arrive.

ALSO expected this week - ranger and tsukineko summer CHA items should also arrive this week. yes this includes distress stickles!

ok i have lost all track of time and what i am supposed to be doing but i am stopping in to take care of two VERY important things! i think i am supposed to pick some blog tart winners AND i have this little cutie up for the guest designer call over at whiff of joy. haven't been over there yet? it is a MUST!!

The image was done last weekend during the copics class with suzanne. this image is SO much fun to color - i have a little whiff of joy collection just waiting for me to find some time.....the snowflake paper is from the DCWV glitter stack. the bottom piece is stamped with versamark, covered with seafoam white embossing powder and heated. then i sprayed on the shimmer with perfect pearls mists made with cranberry and meadow adirondack reinkers and perfect gold perfect pearls.

the image is accented with spica pens and stickles and then edged with meadow ink and my ink blending tool (how DID i ever make a card without it???) the pink and green dots are little shimmery dots i picked up at stamping bella - SO need mor eof those!!!

the sentiment is a studio G of course - stampedwith brilliance lighting black so it has a gold shimmer too. cut it with my nesties and then blended on the cranberry ink with the blender to highlight the scallops and embossing.

alas the shimmer never shows up as well in pics but IRL this card just sparkles!

drive by posting......

this will be a quick one. i was getting the baby up and i heard a noise outside - so i look out the window and there is a UPS truck - not in FRONT of my house but backed up IN my driveway - needless to say series 22 has arrived! it remains to be seen if they are all intact - the first box i opened was missing a set. but oh they are so very cute!!! so rest assured i will be sorting and shipping my little heart out as fast as i can and expect more boxes tomorrow......i will likely to be very slow to respond to emails during the next few days and please keep in mind that to answer everyone's emails about where they are in line just prevents me from shipping (4 1/2 hours yesterday answering emails :P)

on another note - i could NOT help but take a break and get some pics of the most amazing little gift i received in the mail today from a friend over on the paper patch crafts MB:

i was in a recipe swap and the girl who volunteered to put everyone's together made up these little boxes - tailored to each of us with our fave colors and boy did she hit the nail on the head with mine!!! i utterly adore it!!! thanks ever so much shelly!!!!! she also included the series 14 & 17 studio G stamps i can't get which i am so grateful for!! back to the front lines!

hi all!

COMPLETELY slipped my mind but i want to give a shout out to my friend suzanne who came over saturday and taught a copics class - *big hugs* - she is unbelievably talented, her cards make my jaw drop and it was SOOOO helpful to have her over to give us tips and see how she does it. i hear she will be putting together another one so if you are in the northern VA area i strongly encourage you to join in! you MUST check out her blog if you haven't already!

Happy Monday!!!

So i will be all business today! The rest of the Studio G items are slated to start pouring in over the course of this week and early next week (with the exception of Series 25). SO that means it will be a madhouse here as i get everyone's goodies sorted, re-packaged, labeled and shipped out. SOOOOO no playtime for me and one heckuva a boring blog for you!! BUT i will be taking blog candy entries until friday morning at 8 and then I will pick a random winner. so spread the word!!!

In addition I also JUST ordered a whole bunch of new Inkadinkado clear sets as well! and boy oh boy are they CUTE!!!! so watch for those - they will go up next week unless i somehow find time this week........

The new sets include something I ADORE called inchies - have you seen these??? sheets of cute little coordinating scenes/designs that are each 1" square or less - each sheet has 23 stamps on it!!! I will try and get them up on the website today before the first of the boxes hits tomorrow.....

TECC32

TECC is a sketch challenge from a blog i only recently discovered called Taylored Expressions - every Friday she posts a sketch for her cupcake challenge - cupcakes optional. but since i got 'em.....

what i like most about it is the frosting - i used liquid pearls and it turned out nice i think! Taylor also just released her own line of stamps - adorable little cupcakes (of course - seeing the theme....) - anyway, she GENIOUSLY came up with the idea of optional key ingredient sets - papers, brads, glitter and ribbon perfectly coordinated. of course i put in an order immediately!! cannot WAIT to get it all!! congrats Taylor - i know the feeling - it is so awesome!!!

i urge everyone to go check 'em out and tell her i sent you!!

sarah kay challenge

i stumbled across these adorable sarah kay stamps and was instantly hooked. well my friend Christine had a link up to a sarah kay blog and they issue a challenge every sunday so of course i had to play!

i must say i am so in love with this card. the colors are not colors i might have normally put together but i started the picking process with the patterned paper (DCWV nana's nursery stack) and went from there. the sketch itself was so good i just knew the card would be too! the image is colored with copics. corners are a fiskars corner punch, border is also fiskars. i finished off with a couple primas, a flower button and some dots of dimensional pearls here and there.

HOWEVER, i SO don't need any more cards! SO i used it on this LO:

i repeated the border somewhat across the top and bottom and added more primas. i have some moss rose across the front of our blueberry patch that is growing really well so i said Pez, go sit by the moss rose and i'll take your picture. well she sat IN the moss rose (holding a dead plant she uprooted while in the garden with Tiger).

i was really pleased with my prima layering. i used to hoard primas but i am getting more free with them.

I also got another LO done with pics of the same afternoon - Tiger found some mint in my garden and it was like catnip! she was rolling around and totally filthy! well pezzy just had to go see what she was up to:

these LOs were both done using Page Maps - a FABulous resource if you haven't already been there.

lotsa lotsa SFYTT and one for OCCC

jen was talking about how cute ellie is lately on her blog so i am continuing with the lotsa lotsa theme since i got carried away with her sketch this weekend! and i was SO excited to see my friend suzanne dean as the guest designer this month - suzanne is extremely talented and will be coming over this weekend to hang out and color with a few of us - she has been gracious enough to agree to come teach a copics class for us!!! be sure and go check out her blog too because she has some FABOO blog candy up for grabs this week!!!! this first one also incorporates the theme for OCCC which was to create a humorous card or at least a card that makes me smile. well this card has such wild colors i can't help but smile:

this poor little chichiboulie from stamping bella has sat unloved for far too long on my really need to use this stamp pile (and more just keep coming because i think i am crazy!!) the Drop Scallops background stamp is one of my very own inked up with the Bouquet kaleidacolor pad. i colored twimkle fairy chichi with copics and then painted her skirt with opal liquid pearls and her wings with frosted lace stickles - the shimmer of the skirt would NOT come thru on the pics but i really like it in real life. the sentiment is studio g of course!

the next two are faux watercoloring again - both using inkadinkado stamps:

they also both have some of that delicious SEI velvet paper i love so much!

i am considering some changes to my blog and have been collecting up some blog candy i need to give away so watch for more on that soon!!!
