CHA fun people fun time part 4! studio g folks!

oh my studio G babies! look what bob has in stor efor us now:

yes those are $1 chalks!!!! yes that's right 24 colors of chalk for $6 my friends! i wish i could tell you i tried them out but they had no samples out :( however, considering how amazing the inks and glitter glue have been i have no doubts on these, besides bob promised...hee heeee.

up next we have a new collectio of ink pads and glitter glues that are perfectly matched to each other:

yes i know the pic is side ways - can't figure it out and i am seriously lacking in bran capacity so you'll just have to turn yourselves since i can't turn the pic ........

next in the clear stamp series we have:

now for your entry post today - y'all let me know what you think of these cuz to be honest they didn't have me fallin out of my chair like the fairies (oh that fairy set...)

and finally - your next comment assignment - these litle babies:

i think of them as studio Gs all growed up - they would retail around $5-$6 a pack, come with an acrylic block and stamp pad. whaddaya think? do y'all like? do you want them in the store??

as the show was closing last night i went over and hung out with bob and cheryl my two reps that i torture incessantly on y'alls behalf and it was just wonderful! to finally meet them in person and get to know each other and have time to chat a bit - they are just the sweetest.

tho i can't share details bob and i talked about some cool stuff coming down the pike you won't want to miss AND *trumpeting sound, drumroll* hampton art will be sponsoring a monthly contest for me!! what does that mean? that means we will have a challenge each month, pick a winner and the winner will receive a package of hampton art goodies in the mail! now isn't that sweet??? so i have not decided how that will work and where i will do the chaallenge - here or in the papercraft planet group but i am leaning towards doing it here............i think i will get more entrants..........so dust off those studio Gs you have been hoarding and get ready to play!!!!!

  1. I'm glad you got to meet your reps & that they're really nice. It's always better when you have a good relationship with them, so it's great that they're sponsoring the contest.

The chalks look great & I like some of the sets, but I don't need new ink pads & I'd rather just pay $3-4 for the set itself.

  2. Very cool things!!! I dream of going to CHA one time!

As far as the Studio G "kits" they are a neat concept. I'm kind of picky on my inks though and a girl can only use/alter so many blocks.

I like the stamps, but I'm not sure I'd buy the whole thing.

  3. I like the Studio G Stamps, and I like that they are reasonably priced. But I don't buy a lot of stamps anymore as I have so many - so I only get what I really LOVE!

  4. The studio g kits look great and would be awesome for beginning stampers who may need inks and blocks. However it would also be great just to be able to purchase the stamps.

  5. I think it's great that Studio G is out there helping crafters with a good product for a reasonable price. Keep up the good work.

Fairies???? I missed this somewhere. What fairies from Studio G? I just might have to have those.

  6. Very nice! I like the chalk sets! I don't think I would pay the $5-$6 for the bigger studio g's with the pad and everything. I just like to get the stamps.

  7. Love the other Studio G stamps! I would totally buy some! And chalks? Hmmmm...I have been iffy on trying their ink and glitter, but maybe I should?

  8. 24 colors of chalk for $6 sounds awesome, dont really need the ink pads. I am not too crazy about the studio g stamps in the pics... but I do love the Hero Bride stamp set!

  9. I haven not tried Studio G but for that price I would. Looks like they have great colors and a nice selection of stamps.

  10. Oooo always love a sneak peek of what's new in the world of Studio G!

First of all I am in LOVE with those chalks!!! I desperatly need some new ones, and I think I justmade my decision that these will be the wy to go....haha

I'm not thrilled about the new series set, definatly one I could live without. I do really like the value packs... especially the owls...LOVE the owls...lol

The challenges sound great.. anything to get me using my studio G's more is worth giving a try, lord knows I've spent enough on the lil buggers, it's about time I put them to good use ;)

  11. The new set doesn't have me falling out of my chair either. But I'm liking the new sets, although I have zero need for more acrylic blocks... :-/

  12. Wow! I love the idea of the chalks.

  13. Wow....love the chalks...wish you could have tried them!

  14. Like the stamps but who needs a new block with every set? EEKk lol

  15. Honestly, I would probably buy all of the chalks, matching ink and some of the all growed up kits too. I like that they come with a block, once I see more detail of what they stamp I think I would choose a few.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I really like the chalks. I don't think I'd by the $5-$6 sets. I'd rather just pick my favorite stamps.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I like the sets but I, like others, am picky about inks and stuff like that. I wouldn't mind getting some of those stamps if they were just the stamps.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I actually like the new Studio G's that you showed. I've alread got enough chalk right now though. I agree w/some of the other comments that I'd prefer to buy just the stamps themselves w/o the blocks and inks. StephanieDoan from Cricut MB

  19. I liked a few of the sets, but I wouldn't be interested in a whole set as I'm pretty fussy about my ink and I think I have enough blocks.

  20. wow i love the chalks so cool. im still not sure on the packs. maybe its cause im a cheapo at heart and i like the dollar stuff cause i feel like im getting a deal

  21. The stamps look great. I love the ones I have so more will be great. They are simply so affordable.

  22. Love the chalks and glue of course... I admit that I am not feeling the new baby set either. I like the kits if the images are a little bit bigger than the standard which is what I have been hoping for!!!

    ReplyDelete
  23. I like the chalks, but have to agree with many of the others. The larger sets of stamps are a nice concept, but I really don't need a new block and ink pad each time. They would be great for occasional stampers/crafters or beginners.

  24. My head is spinning just looking at all of your photos - can't imagine what it must be like in person - surreal maybe. Yor posts are great for those of us who couldn't attend.

  26. I love the Studio G stamp kits....love the fact that they are "bigger" sets. Not so sure about the other series of Studio G.....but as you said the fairies are fabulous!!

    ReplyDelete
  27. I like the stamps in the value packs better than the new line of Studio G's, but I agree with everyone else about having no block included. I already have so many....but I would still buy them if I wanted the stamp. :) Can't resist!

  28. Studio G is my downfall. Only a dollar. But i NEED them all.

    ReplyDelete
  29. The chalks look great - i love the inks, but am not crazy about the glitter glue (I prefer stickles) so I'll wait for your review!
Not loving the stamps either - a few of them are cute and I'll probably try to pick them up individually - I don't need the small alphas.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I really like the Studio G stamps and have oodles of them already. I would prefer to buy them individually, instead of a whole series, as some I wouldn't use. They do pack a lot of acrylic images on a small surface! The bigger ones as you say, "Studio G all growed up" appeal to me - the acrylic image is larger, right? Though I wouldn't want the ink pad included. Glad you got to meet your reps.

  31. I like the chalks and for the price cant go wrong.
Not a big fan of the new set but I am one that never buys the whole set only what I like
Dont think I would like the ink have enough of course dont know how that ink is
the last 2 days I have had trouble with blogger and couldnt get on sorry this is late
thanks again for taking the time

  32. The new sets look cute but I am siding with lots of the other comments--not sure if I would buy a lot of sets that have blocks since i have blocks already. I like the looks of the chalks. And it looks like you are still having tons of fun. Will you ever be able to come down to earth?

    ReplyDelete
  33. The new chalks look great, and I would definitely buy them. I don't feel the same way about the new series of stamps (esp. the one with the typo!)---would have really liked the one with the backgrounds if it was bigger. Not much I can do with it being that small. I like the kits, but agree with the people that posted that I don't need any more ink pads or blocks. Really enjoying seeing all the sneak peeks!

  34. How fun to meet your reps...this way they know you too...maybe you'll be able to convince them of what you want easier when they can put a face to your name. And them sponsoring challenges...yay for you!
I like the chalks and some of the studio g stamps, but I don't usually buy a whole set...just my favs. As far as the Hampton stamps, I think I'd rather just buy the stamps.
Enjoy the rest of your time...TFS!

  35. I am jealous that you're at CHA. It looks so fun and so much to see and drool over. I like the chalks and would be interested in buying some.

  36. WOW-Love the chalks and glue and inks!! The new stamp set looks "ok" but I'm one of those who collect all of the series so I'll plan on getting this set too. It's kind of like all the tons of stickers that I have -I end up using the one that I wondered what I'd ever do with it when it came on a sheet with something else I really liked. LOL I'd def have to try some of the larger sets-but I too perfer just the stamps with a lower price. Still I'm sure some will find their way to my house. I would love to go to the CHA but I'm afraid I'd never get married if I did because my boyfriend would have a heartattack when I told him what I'd spent-I'm sure he'd ask-I'd hate to have him passout over the phone as he lives about 80 miles from me. I can hear it now-"but honey I just had to have one in every color....ROTFL.

  37. Oooh love the chalks! What a deal. I think the kits are a nice idea, but I don't know that I'd be interested (b/c of ink & blocks).

    ReplyDelete
  38. Another, "I don't think so" vote on the grown-up Studio G's. There are way to many other Stamp Companies out there in the same price range or a little higher. Experienced stampers don't want/need more blocks, nor ink included with the stamps they are buying. I have seen, and am not buying the stamp sets that have the Bling included in the package. Chances are I already have the perfect bling to go with their stamps. Why pay for something I don't need, just to get something I want. Linda

  39. I would buy the chalks and I like the set of colors they come in. I don't think I would buy the all in one at the end. How many acrylic blocks can you have.

    ReplyDelete
  40. oh how I just love stuff for a buck!! And the idea of those chalks is awesome!

    ReplyDelete
  41. I am liking the chalks and glitter glues but i don't think you need a block and ink pad with every set of stamps-I can't use that many and I like to buy my inks separately. The singles didn't really grab at me and say I NEED these. But I so love those fairy stamps and will def be getting my hands on them.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I am totally addicted to the $1 stamps...not sure that I would go "up" to the kits though.

    The challenge sounds really cool!

    ReplyDelete
  43. I love the Stduio G chalks. They look great! I don't like the idea of a stamp pad, because I have hundreds of stamp pads already, but the sets look nice.

    Thanks for sharing!

  45. I am so in love and addicted to Studio G. I want want want!!! I just cannot get enough of these stamps, glitter, little ink pads. they are fabulous and for us big time crafters...inexpensive! How wonderful!!!

    ReplyDelete
  46. I think tghe draw to the dollar stamps is the price... a stamper gets a lot of images for such a little money. But yes you get what you pay for as there is not alot of detail or sizeability... oh well what do you want for a buck?! LOL

  47. I love the glitter matched to the stamp pads. I'm a huge fan of chalk, and if it also matches the inks, I would be interested. The kits look great with a terric price point, but how many of the same ink pad does one need??

    ReplyDelete
  48. I enlarged the $1 stamps photo, & liked two~ the Friendship & the square designs.
I wouldn't buy a "Vaue Set"... that might be great for a new stamper...

    ReplyDelete
  49. Ooooh, I like the new $1 stamps! (except that one set has a typo - it should read "YOU'RE" invited, not "your." But if they fix that, then I think they're all pretty cute -great for cardmaking! As for the kits, MUST HAVE those OWLS! The rest of the kits are so-so, but the OWLS - LOVE!
