i have taken a break from my little truffle cuties to play with some stamps i have been hoarding from my friend Susana's shop. She has some newly released Karen Lockhart stamps (which i will be adding to my collection) as well as a super deal to celebrate - If you purchase any 4 regular Lockhart Stamps (any combination) from either the new or previous collection (not including Itty Bittys) you will get to select a free IB from the selection that I have available at the time at my store. You do not need to buy all 4 at once.
I recently got my first lockhearts and decided to put one to use with MJ's sketch on the right.
I saw this stamp first over on the karen lockhart group on The Planet and just had to have it! i wasn't really sure how i wanted to do it so i browsed my far too massive paper collection and came across the bright fun stripes - the answer to the dull gray days we've been having! so the card stemmed from there:
The flowers are primas and i have some cool glitter dots in the center - also from susana! i decided i liked the sketch so much i used it again for my second card:
this is a serendipity stamp susana carries and i have eyed it a number of times when browsing so i was THRILLED to get it as a surprise one day! my mom paints porcelain and i have done some too so i love painted porcelain - especially the blue and white antique china. so i immediately knew i would ink this up using memento blue danube. i shaded with gray copics and used more glitter dots.
in other news i received some up to the minute info on coming studio G sets - i will be working on those files so i can post them - you can see them later today over in the Studio G group (a challenge and TWO giveaways going on now) on The Planet or here tomorrow! i have FOUR new sets to show you!!!!
